Of course we have an impact . . . that has never been in question. It has always been about the scale of the impact compared to geologic, global and cosmic impacts. We are polluters and our negative impact is undeniable, noticeable, destructive and unacceptable. But we are NOT capable of impacting anything on the scale of Global climate change, period. The fraudulent attempt to link our destructive pollution to climate change is unconscionable. The attempt to transfer wealth in the form of carbon credits is illegitimate and felonious. Our ability to affect or ameliorate climate change is negligible to non-existent by anything that is humanly FEASIBLE. Our ability to clean up our pollution is, however, simply a matter of will. Threats and punishments will never achieve it . . . only positive incentives that make it more profitable NOT to pollute will ever work.
