thats really interesting soul. where did you come across this article? I've always liked the thought of vibrations as energy. when you put your hand to a buzzing speaker you can just feel the electricity.

There are endless ways in which we can harvest the energy generated by human movement. For instance. We all need to exercise at least twenty minutes, twice a day. If we did that bad health would be reduced ten fold. Work-out equipment could easily be adapted to harness and transfer all that human sweat and generate electricity. The useful output would serve to encourage people to exercise more. 1 KWH = 900lb lift per second Break that down to a manageable exercise session. Billions of KWH per day! All clean, sustainable energy making us fit and healthy at the same time. Best kind of synergy! P.S. People could be paid for every KWH they generate. Now that is a way to get greed to work for good.

That elbow grease has got to count for something! But that idea of people just walking across floors and getting energy out of it... cool.
