The Dichotomy of Monogamy

Men and women are spiritually called to seek out a single soul-mate
Men are biologically designed otherwise

Mature males reproduce their entire sperm count daily
and the stored sexual energy
of billions of life forms
seek immediate outlet

Mature females produce one egg monthly
and are sexually aroused
for only a few days

Thus
monogamous married males in general
spend the bulk of the month sexually frustrated

Adultery beckons
marriages fail

How are the yearnings of the heart
and the urges of the body
to be reconciled?

Do we have any answers
to the dichotomy?

for no matter what
he remains the father

I was thinking that as I was reading your post magnet... that you like everyone else has a biased opinion. but I still enjoy reading what wisdom you have to write.

Oh and I found it amusing that you called it a condition... like "he" was sick... LOL
