"Out of Africa" movie The scenes with them sitting around the campfire and Meryl Streep telling stories.....captured both the lost art of storytelling and the movie was set in some of the most beautiful cinematography.....the interlocking human emotions and relationships....good stuff.

Ditto soulatom, I also recommend this movie. It's Africa as beautifully as I've ever seen it.

Here's one I have seen so many times and it rates up there with classic. "The Scent of a Woman" The pure romance of smelling a woman and describing her by the perfume she wears without having to see her, purfect. So many reflections of the human flaws and the human rightness, Al Pacino delivering the closing scene had to have been at his best. "We can fix an amputated arm, we can fix an amputated leg , but how dow we fix an amputatated spirit?"

I recommend "The Princess Bride" it is the most classical classic that you will ever see. The genius humor poking fun at the stereo typical fairytale, coupled with the characters that you can't help but fall in love with, makes for a witty, fun, utterly timeless movie... Ahh, I'm raving. No, but seriously, if you don't laugh while watching this movie, there is no hope for you.

I agree this is one of those great movies you'll want to watch over and over again... Lost count on this one. Got stuck on "Willow" the same way!

Totally agree! I love the soundtrack, too.

de.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Otherswhy i should watch this movie? i may be condemned or sentenced to waiting until someone with better luck and more chances can summarize a thought into greater art and better inspiration for those who can afford to buy such luxury.

i would recommend any movie dealing with the "problem" of ageing societies, which is, in effect the loss of respect for elders and ancient wisdom, and worst of all, the love of life in every one's being. just look at what it took to reverse all love to having. www.imdb.com/title/tt1047007/
