Soulatom was a constant presence in my life for almost thirty years. It will take time to adjust every morning to sit and have coffee without sharing recounts and interpretations of our astral dreams.
I first met her when she was in her mid twenties. She had invested the previous nine years of her life as a spiritual minister in the Church of Scientology and was searching for further spiritual enlightenment. I introduced her to Karma Yoga and she agreed to become my partner in the raising of a family.
Our partnership was pre-ordained - arranged via heavenly omens. As a Capricorn she was positioned , to the very day, as my exact opposite on the Zodiac calender. As such she squarely saw and appreciated all my strengths and covered all my weaknesses. No spouse could have had a more loyal or supportive companion.
She self-birthed her first child and due to complications had the next two via Cesarean section. She breast-fed each one and kept them close to her body until each was weaned. She step-mothered four of my other children as though they were her own.
Her character was the rock on which our house was built.
She had a strong work-ethic tried to excel at everything she did. She also had the rare quality to be a good listener and became the personal confidant to each and every one of us.
She contracted a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer six years ago. Jimi, her youngest child was still only seven years of age. Chemo therapy offered her the chance of five years more of of life. She took that chance for his sake. Despite dozens of chemo treatments, the cancer metastasized and spread to her lungs and spine. She never complained and never shirked from her duties. It took an effort for the rest of us to keep realizing that she was dying of an incurable disease. She functioned without self-pity while harboring the constant knowledge of a death sentence.
In her final days, in the midst of severe pain, her sense of humor never left her. Despite her suffering, she continued to take a vital interest in the lives of all around her.
Her last revelations were written down in the thread on this forum entitled Miracle Cures. The final purification of her soul is clearly evident in those writings.
In the end, when her weakened body could barely move, her steel will came to the fore. She did not want to be a burden to others. She took her own karma in her hands and with clear sight, deliberately took an over-dose of morphine and exited this life peacefully via her own steam.
Her time on this planet while living among us has enriched all our lives. Her tiny feet leave behind an indelible print.
She is now our guardian angel. Our family goal, to share a new vision of social and spiritual values is not complete. Before she passed she determined to do what she could on a higher plane, to help us achieve our earthly goal. Only then, will she rest in peace.
We have no sense of mourning her loss. We all still feel her presence surrounding us.
