Hi,
My name is Claudio Bianco. I am an inventor, and have just completed my last work called "Continual Wind-Up", with which I take advantage of water oscillations to wind up a cord, and thus generate electricity.
I believe to have opened a new research field for renewable energy, but since I am the father of this invention, my opinion does not matter.
I chose to use Internet to make the invention known and I would appreciate your opinion.I would therefore like to invite you to discover a

Wow, I hadn't seen this thread before... I'm glad you posted it MM. I wonder if anything has become of the idea?

I have to say, as an amatuer web-builder I completely dig the intriguing simplicity of the design of his site, and the way it simply exists out there in cyber-space, complete unto itself.... like a cyber-embodiment of everything that a 'perpetual mobile' represents.

I wish my understanding and knowledge of physics could fully grasp his invention. Way over my head I'm afraid, but even without the technical comprehension, I found it very exciting reading how he came to realize it, and of course the very thought that such a thing could exist. I think the idea of perpetual motion is something that will forever be universally compelling for techies and non-techies alike.

I also found these sentiments of on copyrights to be refreshing ...

My intention as regards the continual wind-up was not to create a monopoly or sell the patent to a corporate body to silence this idea. I content myself with the benefits and changes that the perpetuum mobile might cause in the planet. For that reason, I have decided not to process any patent application beyond the boundaries of Spain, since it will provoke the total deregulation of the idea in the rest of the world.

Therefore, from March, 1st, 2007, expiration date of the one year period, any individual o corporate body will be able to build for personal or commercial reasons the continual wind-up in any of its forms; continual wind-up charged by waves, in rivers, by the tide, perpetual mobile, or flying saucer without having to pay any sum of money or asking me for a permission.

I authorise the total or partial transmition of any of my ideas, drawings, pictures, videos or animations, in any forms or by any means, as long as the author is cited.

Although I am aware that the fact of renouncing this right prevents me from putting some obstacles in the way beyond Spanish territory, I want to express that I applaud any civilian attempt to build my invention, and I totally repudiate every attempt to apply my ideas for military use.

The fact that he chose to list the music and books (Steppenwolf, I-Ching, Illusions...) that inspired him confirms my sneaking suspicion that the scientist and physicists and inventors of the future that will lead us out of peril, will be/are complete dual-brainists (new word!) and philosophers:

A world with perpetual mobile

It was never easy to talk about my work, the searchers of perpetual mobile, we are taken for dreamers by simply mentioning the idea. And it is true, I always chose to be a dreamer rather than give up.

All machines seem to be tricks to throw nature off balance. So it turns out that metal pieces do not fly on their own, but if all those metal pieces make an airplane, a miracle is produced, that does not stop being simply a trick, resolved by a monkey that did not give in to thinking like the rest.

I proposed the idea of inventing the perpetual mobile because I came to the consciousness of how useful this machine could be in the future.

The current energy policy is taking us down a dead end street, human thirst for energy, is destroying the only house we have. It is clear that to maintain a certain standard of living we need energy, but this end, can it justify so much horror in the world?

Because this is not only an environmental problem, the dependence is such that is they continue to justify wars, only to assure a continual supply of petroleum.

Some time ago I read that the future melting of the polar ice caps, due to the greenhouse effect, would free navigation routes, and would make it possible to access and exploit petroleum deposits which are currently inaccessible.

In other words, the perspective is that when things get hot, keep heating it up, until the only ice left is in our freezers
When I was a boy I thought, that in the future the main problem would be the exhaustion of petroleum wells, and now I see clearly that the problem is that it will not end, and if we wait until it runs out to modernise our current technology, surely we will have created such damage to our environment, that we will have to make flying saucers to escape from our polluted planet.

If there existed the perpetual mobile, a lot of what is happening would stop happening, the simple news of the future construction of a machine like this, would provoke the decline in the petroleum industry, since it would leave us an escape route from having to use the crude oil reserves in the future.
And not only would it mark the beginning of the end of the era of petroleum, in time any other form of making electricity would be made obsolete. A machine that does not need anything in order to produce electricity, would make unjustifiable the costs that are now justifiable.

The perpetual mobile would solve current energy problems. It would help to open for us the way in Space and the depths, but more than anything it would mark the changing of an era.

We have managed to automate machines, but not to make them independent. This dependence is the necessity that they have to consume energy, and this necessity is destroying the planet. The perpetual mobile would make machines independent, and would mark the beginning of a new era, in which machines come to terms with nature.

We are monkeys, opening the universe with our creativity.
Reality seems to mould itself to our dreams.
We decide which universe we want to be in.
Not that we live in a world where the perpetual mobile is not possible,
rather we do not permit dreaming of another.
Only creativity will take us out of our darkness.

REMGen ready for production; demo in August
