it seems to me (too?) many of today's survival strategies and tactics rest or are built upon auto-suggestion couéismits inventor may have become irrelevant but this methodical indoctrination of willpower that positive thought is the justification for is a dangerous error imo it is a manipulation of the frequency spectrum man has with nature the universe and all living beings our early ancestors were humble and the masters from such traditions too the spirit realms were accepted as that of god's our five talents are our five senses to use for perception and then add to them in prospering expression thus (cor)responding with love and appreciation once this principle is understood it must stop us from going against our nature no happy person would do that anymore en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%89mile_Cou%C3%A9\!!

It seems that Norman Vincent Peale took a free ride on this I am of two minds on this rather than repeating a private mantra for self development which i do occasionally i have developed my own theory on the positive nature of our collective evolution and prefer to remain connected to where we all are now believing in and sharing in our slow forward pace instead of flying off up ahead to some cloud in the sky
There can be no lasting joy in heaven while one soul suffers in hell
Very nice observation

i did not know peale, nor where he comes from, nor could i have known how such authoritative schools of thought arise: only one thing is clear to me who only can grapple with occidental histories and environmental experiences, it's me plus followers, hopefully them seeing themselves as attached enough.
communities are extremely fragile constructs, not too supportive of strong individual membership ~~~ such never survive the egoes of their "leaders".
and in times of crisis, it's a friend in need is a friend indeed. too often, substance is too scarce to team up with a doubtlessly perfect spiritual concurrence.
but such is by no means new. the basic tenets of our beliefs need more scrutiny than ever. imho.

this apparent global 'cult of positivism' has simply rubbed me the wrong way for too long. i had to track this discomfort to its origin..... www.larouchepub.com/lar/2000/lar_information_soc_2717.htmlto me, it is very, very sad that such could cause an ideological rift even in all personal relationships.

well, being practical and pragmatic ~~~~~ what else can one be in this world? if there is auto suggestion, and auto perception, then soon the perfect world may consist of automated beings. in pursuit of "happiness", it appears, one upmanship has crafted the hierarchies and much incompatibility thereof with life-sustaining ingredients like a divine law. any wolves? any priests?

"i like your style" ilove philosophizing.... positive expectations and painful truths behind them. how they have cancelled out each other.. getting to the "flip" side of nothingness. not fast enough though.
