Brief Outline of Psyche-Genetic Theory

The evolution of human consciousness is an on-going cycle that has, what I believe, a definable beginning and end. Though we have the power to cut it short in mid-cycle, that in itelf is a moot point. The drive to complete the cycle is a natural phenomena. It is not us who want to perpetuate life (at least until end cycle) it is Nature Herself.

I have tried to create a reasonable theory on how our evolutionary cycle works. The Psyche-Genetic theory is more lengthy, but here is a brief outline

Circa 2,5 million BC. Reflective Human consciousness begins - Homonid has an ephanny and sees the self as separate from Nature. Stone Age starts. Sharing ethic makes human consciousness expand beyond primate selfishness. Dynamics of hunting and gathering, using stone tools, weapons, traps, snares etc. lays foundations of our engineering and technological expertise. Time and space remain relative. Consciousnes remains locked in the here and now of daily survival.

Circa 20,000 B.C. Bronze Age starts. Success as hunters populates all available territiries across Afrca, Europa and Asia. Agriculture becomes a survival imperative. Domesticating nature via cooperation in extended family groups increases emotional, social and mental intelligence. Work ethic is seated in consciousness. Fighting off large predators to protect herds and flocks seats ethic of courage. Perception of Time and Space now expanded to assess length of seasons. Eventually farm-division becomes uneconomical, over-crowding leads to endless clan fueds - ending eventually in outright war. Ruthless warlords unite clans into proto-nations. Bronze Age ends

Circa 4,000 B.C Iron Age begins. Oral-based communicaion no longer able to govern larger territories and keep clans unified. Totemic worship needs to be crushed. Invention of orthodox Religious Scripture becomes survival imperative. National effort now focused on development of induatrial craftsmanship. Masons, metal smiths, weavers, cobblers etc occupy bulk of people. Conscientious craftsmanship is sustained by rigid religious belief. Religion finances huge public works - from pyramids to cathedrals. Kings rule by Divine appointment, their authority is sustained by the Church. Time and space now measured by minute and hour, inch, foot and yard. Eventually national over-crowding leads to imperial ambitions. Expansion of anaylitical intelligence leads to increasing protest against Religious dogma. Iron Age ends.

500. B.C. Steel Age of scientific determinsim and religious protest begins when Aristotle announces that only the phsyical sense can define the meaning and purpose of existence. Colonization extends scientifcally developed consciousness to include all areas of the world. Divine right of royalty challenged. Rebellious republics formed. Darwin ends last power of religion by proving man is an ape. Time and Space now measured in microscopic and macroscopic dimentions. Competition for world dominance heralds future World Wars. Steel Age ends

1900 A.D. Nuclear Theory and its threat of species extinction introduces New Age of thought. Globalization is now at forefront of consciousness. Sub-atomic physicists now deeply into metaphsyics.

6th extension of Conciousness -- Space, Terra Forming,

7th Extension of Consciousness - Consciousness unable to grasp Time and Space beyond speed of light. No place further to expand. No more children born. Phsyical Cycle ends.

I think this is a very clear and concise time-line. We'll written. Certainly orientates one in time and space.

The idea that there can be such a swift single catalyst in an age-change is very interesting. Like Aristotle and Nuclear Theory. It seems that those two changes were not at all gradual like the ones that preceded them. Is that the trend? Will each shift be swifter and more defined than the last?

When does the 6th Age begin? Being that we are in space now, are we already in the baby-stages of it?

You seriously don’t get enough credit for this; our evolution is clearly and practically laid out and understandable. The prehistoric stages are so uncharted by our anthropologists because they are unwilling to state anything but facts. But the common sense of our past stages of evolution just seems so plainly laid out by you that I’d be hard pressed to find any fundamental flaws in the idea.
The future stages are very abstract though, I personally wouldn’t have any problem with it because it doesn’t seem negative to me, but I can understand it if other people might find it depressing and undesirable. ;D
